About Us

We strive to offer all levels of versatile, kind, gentle, and well educated horses to those looking to own their first, or next thoroughbred. We are working hard in this years market to keep our costs light so we can still offer great horses at fair prices-but most importantly to ensure a well matching home or program.

We know what it takes to not only purchase a horse directly from its current racing career, but the very important steps immediately following unloading to a new environment. Our horses carefully go through a 3 step process that takes them from their stalls, to paddock turnout, to herd introduction. In that time, horses are working under saddle continuously. We want to ensure that when you take your next partner home, they are fully ready for normal farm life again outside of racing. In many cases, these horses can go injured, or gain health issues due to the abrupt life changes that many times can’t be offered by every buyer right from the track.

We offer a quiet, stress free atmosphere. And fun appointment settings customizable to your situation. Bringing your trainer? Bringing your client? Tack up two and go ride out together. Large stone dust arena, small xc course, grooming area, and ample trailer turnaround.

Shipping quotes directly available all over the east coast and most points west.

Founded by, Samantha Elliott

Having spent most of my own entirety since 11, just 20 minutes from Charlestown Races and volunteering at a barn in Boonsboro Maryland on San Mar Rd, my love of thoroughbreds grew from there. I spent my first 10 years in Southern MD, growing up in 4-H showing mainly Western Pleasure. In Boonsboro, I dabbled in English and western both, putting most all first rides in on countless horses for the San Mar Rd barn in my 12 year. Later grew my love for trying out everything, taking horses everywhere and anywhere-quite literally. During a big career push, I spent several years a full time employee of Days End Farm, emergency rescue, rehabilitation, and love for rehabbing difficult cases. Later I went on to obtain multiple levels of State and National Emergency Response Certifications, swift water rescue, and certifications in Epidemiology.

I still wasn't happy without thoroughbreds in my life somewhere. In 2015 I took on a farm lease to enable me to continue placing retired racehorses on a larger level then I had before. Which has led us to expand this program to offer not only retired racehorses, but to offer the transition and training to those purchasing strait from connections who are looking to take the safest steps for the best possible transition.
